This sculptural ring was made with copper wire, a stone, and copper cut with a hand saw. Each element was soldered on one at a time, soaked in water and acid between solder times. With this being such a complex form, the body with the legs is one piece, each wing is a piece, each antena is a piece, and the shank and stone are separate pieces.
